Kids/ Prenatal Yoga!


Yoga has tremendous benefits for all of us. Our physical body is healthier and happier, and the way we view ourselves, others and life in general is healthier. We become more balanced and therefore happier people!!
Yoga for all : On an physical level through asana with Yoga we get rid of all the blockages that inhibit our energy (prana) to move freely throughout our bodies. When our energy flows freely the body has the tendency to heal itself. When our prana gets blocked our bodies can't heal themselves anymore, they don't function properly and eventually we will become ill. Some people mistakenly think Yoga is a way to escape from life. The truth is, exactly the opposite, through Yoga you become more effective and efficient in the way you deal with life!! Prenatal Yoga : Helps the woman connect with her unborn child. Prepares the body for labour and the mind for this amazing new beginning, this new life! But, most importantly it helps the woman realise that pregnancy is not an illness it is not something that happens to you, it is something you are creating. You have the power to create a new life..live it ..enjoy it ..it is the greatest gift!! Kids Yoga : Helps children with postural issues such as scoliosis for example!. Nice way to teach them to calm themselves down and to focus (if you have children you know how hard that is!!) ..and it is all done through play. this is simething that we all have to try - at least - i find very interesting the idea though the specification of Yoga for Kids and Pregnants.
